Superflex, TEP, and Custom Rankings in the Rookie Mock

The mock does not use Sleeper search rank. It uses FantasyCalc dynasty values unless you upload your own board. This guide covers format, TEP, CSV, and traded picks.

1QB vs Superflex

When you load a Sleeper league, the mock guesses Superflex from roster spots (SFLEX / SUPER_FLEX). You can override it in Setup.

Superflex values quarterbacks higher, so QBs climb the available list and the CPU is more willing to take them early. Flip to 1QB if your league only starts one quarterback.

TEP settings

Tight end premium comes from FantasyCalc, not a made-up bump:

  • Off: Standard dynasty values.
  • TEP+: The te+ board. About 0.5 to 1 extra point per TE catch in most leagues.
  • TEP++: The te++ board. Use this for 2TE or heavy premium.

Changing TEP reorders the available list and what the CPU will pick. A rankings CSV ignores TEP because your file already is the board.

Optional rankings CSV

If your league shares a FantasyPros-style sheet, upload it in Setup. You need a rank column and a player name column. Names are matched after stripping Jr, Sr, and roman numerals.

The CSV becomes the only board. FantasyCalc 1QB, SF, and TEP values are ignored until you clear the file and reload.

Traded picks

The mock pulls traded picks from the Sleeper league and, when you choose a Sleeper draft, from that draft too. Original roster owns the column. Current owner is on the clock.

Empty cells show the current manager and via the original team. That is how 1.01 can sit in your column while someone else picks.

How the CPU picks

CPU teams take best player available on the current board, then apply a little noise so they are not a perfect BPA bot. Superflex still prefers quarterbacks when the value is close.

Pause if you want to study a run. Undo the last pick if you want to steal that selection yourself. Re-run for a new sequence with the same settings.

Quick checklist

  • SF on if you start two quarterbacks.
  • TEP+ or TEP++ if tight ends get extra PPR.
  • Sleeper draft import if picks already traded.
  • CSV only if the league agreed on a shared ranking.

Practice with your real board

Set format and TEP, then run a mock on your lottery or Sleeper slots.
